The primary role of the Customer Service Representative will be to assist our clients with questions, orders, quotes, lead times and solving any issues that arise.

Essential functions:

  • Providing effective account management using in-depth knowledge of company products to manage customer requests thoroughly.
  • Creates accurate and timely customer quote requests.
  • Enters orders for established accounts and communicate with customers from quote request to shipping of product.
  • Creates specifications for new items/updates older specifications on an as-needed basis
  • Responsible for assembling all job jackets- creating the jacket, printing out correct specifications, pulling sample retains from previous jobs
  • Files all orders that have shipped on a daily basis
  • Creates carton labels for all jobs

Competency or Position Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write English
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Customer Service or in a support capacity role. Manufacturing a must.
  • Ability to use a computer to enter data
  • Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and update customers clearly
  • Listening skills; to understand exactly what customers require
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact when dealing with difficult situations
  • A team player that can handle pressure, multitask and prioritize tasks with the flexibility to handle changing priorities.
  • Commitment to improve personal customer service skills on an ongoing basis
  • Commitment to providing total quality work
